We have an open long-term position at our Sourcing & Procurement team for: 

Sourcing Compliance & Sustainability Manager, Helsinki

You will be working in our Sourcing and Procurement team. You will be leading and developing our Sourcing Compliance team and be a member of Sourcing & Procurement Management team, reporting to SVP, Sourcing.  Our current working model in offices is hybrid model. You will work in close cooperation with Sustainability and HSEQ teams, but also with factories, other functions, subsidiaries and our suppliers. 

As a Sourcing Compliance & Sustainability Manager your main tasks will be: 

-to lead Valio’s Sourcing Compliance team and ensure that our Suppliers/Manufacturers and purchased materials and services are compliant with our requirements.

-to drive Sustainability initiative in Sourcing and develop and coach our team and Suppliers to achieve our Sustainability targets. 

-to lead, develop and report in matrix with Valio’s HSEQ and Sustainability teams Valio’s Sustainable Sourcing. 

-to ensure that our procedures and documentation corresponds to Sourcing Quality Management System

We expect from you: 

- Good experience from Sustainable Sourcing or Procurement or Quality Management or similar, preferably from Food sector

- Understanding what Sustainability means in Sourcing and willingness to develop Valio’s Sustainable Sourcing 

- Master’s Degree, preferably from Food Technology or Supply Chain Management, or similar

- Team player with positive and result-oriented attitude and good collaboration skills

- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English and experience from leading teams
